Black Celebration is the fifth album by the band. Released by Mute Records on March 17, 1986, it established the dark tones set by Alan Wilder earlier on the previous album Construction Time Again.

Critical acclaim: Although none of the singles fared pretty well, BC holds up well with diredie hard fans for it's darker tones.
