Important 'notes':
- The title of the album comes from the delightfully dreary song "Pipeline": "Bring out the cranes, construction time again. What is this time?" Love that 80s synth-fueled angst.
- All songs written by Martin L. Gore except for "Two Minute Warning" and "The Landscape Is Changing", which were written by Alan Wilder.
- This would be the only release that the band would not play in North America to support.
