Songs of Faith and DevotionSongs of Faith and Devotion is the eighth studio record by the band, first released in March 1993. The album was their first "rock sound" experiment and upon release reached #1 in both the UK and US album charts. This was the last album to include Alan Wilder.

Important Notes:


  • This was the band's first (and last) foray into a completely rockier sound.
  • This is the only studio album with the band on the cover.
  • Hidden at the end of "Get Right with Me" is "Interlude 4", an excerpt from a Brian Eno remix of "I Feel You". It is often used to introduce the song when played live.
